As well as offering a free, on-demand online course based around the exercises in An Introduction to Basic Statistics for Biologists using R, we also offer live, instructor-led distance-learning courses via Zoom (consisting of four three-hour sessions) and in-person courses (which are run over two days). These courses are more detailed than the free on-demand course and are taught by the authors of An Introduction to Basic Statistics for Biologists using R, allowing you to ask questions, receive help, and explore how you can apply what you learn to your own data sets.
If you attend one of these courses, you will receive an individually numbered and notarised certificate of attendance and completion. Each certificate is embossed with the GIS In Ecology official stamp to prevent its fraudulent reproduction. In addition, each certificate has its own unique identification number that we will record, along with your name, meaning that we can verify the authenticity of the certificates we issue (and the course you have completed) on request.
